Concrete Paving

Concrete pavement which is occasionally called rigid pavement is a concrete layer that is in contact with traffic directly and it is used for different purposes and applications such as sidewalks and driveways.

The limitation in some climates is because it is a less flexible material and can crack freezing temperatures.

In the San Francisco area this is of rare concern. Concrete offers 50+ years of use.

The only maintenance required is occasional degreasing.
